When I was in Goose Bay for a conference in October 2017, I was approached by John Graham to briefly discuss my views on the Canada150 celebrations. He took a few photos and wrote this short piece based on our conversation. The image he chose to use was taken to represent the notion of Two-Eyed Seeing (Etuaptmumk) which he referred to as being evidenced in my work and in my practice. It was humbling and refreshing to hear that my inherent and intentional use of Etuaptmumk. Check out the short piece here and be sure to look at all the other amazing people that are featured in the Portraits of Labrador.
